Peter has undertaken serious journalistic assignments, commissioned to document tough stories, for instance on children’s homes in Albania and the hardness of life in Bulgaria.

He’s also covered less gritty stories such as hot air ballooning in the Serengeti, the high life of the Cannes Film Festival, the attitude of Latitude, the rise of Spitting Image, the genius of his friend Tim Hunkin and the viability of airship travel.

Peter always photographs his own extensive travels, too, which have ranged from a tour of Britain’s Neolithic monuments to a two-year return journey to India with his two tiny children in a VW camper van.
