Writers are often good at eye contact. They know what it means. Peter brings us in close to Seamus Heaney, Carol Ann Duffy, Margaret Atwood, John Hegley, Simon Armitage and Roger McGough. And when his subject’s not looking, he makes photographs that reveal their character, e.g. George Barker and Arthur Miller.
